My Little Terrarium Food Guide
- When given to an animal, food may fill up their hearts based on if the animal likes it and the corresponding size of the food.
- Food is cooked in about 5 minutes, and the food you’re given is random.
- There are two sizes or food. Small, which fills a fourth of a heart if liked, and Large, which fills a half.
You wouldn’t want your animals visiting your plants to suddenly disappear, would you? Then it is very important that you feed your animals with their favorite foods. Here are all the animals’ favorite foods.
How to get food in My Little Terrarium
Finding food in My Little Terrarium is easy and there are many ways.
- Click on the “Free” menu with a cat icon on it. Then you can earn free food by spending gold coins or watching videos here. The waiting time between videos is 3 minutes. After 3 minutes are up, you can watch a new video to get free food again.
- Food can float in the air when watering your plants. In the meantime, you can get it by clicking on the bubbles.
- Tap “Make food” on your first terrarium. Cooking takes 5 minutes.
Cat favorite food
The cat is in your terrarium from the start. He is always there, regardless of time or day. Sometimes, he can be seen sleeping. The cat also allows you to fish in the pond. After getting 3 hearts, the cat will reward you with the cat statue.
Cat favorite/unfavorite food:
- Favorites: Tuna Can and Steak
- Unfavorites: Salad and Fruits
Lesser Panda favorite food
You’ll only see the Lesser Panda during 6 PM and 6 AM, when the background changes to night.
Lesser Panda favorite/unfavorite food:
- Favorite: Tea and bread, Salad, Fruits
- Unfavorite: Worms, Scorpion cake
Rabbit favorite food
Rabbit will only appear in your terrarium on weekends. They are attracted to the tea table, which is under EPIC in the shop.
Rabbit favorite/unfavorite food:
- Favorites: Whiskey Jelly, Tea and Bread
- Unfavorites: Canned Tuna, Steak
Blue Bird favorite food
Appears only between 10pm and 7am on quiet nights.
Blue bird favorite/unfavorite food:

- Unfavorites: Tea and Biscuits, Whiskey Jelly
Fox favorite food
The Fox appears after 3pm.
Fox favorite/unfavorite food:
- Favorite: Warm Stew, Tea and Bread

Koala favorite food
You must have two or more animals in the same terrarium already, along with the Eucalyptus plant. (50% grown or more)
Koala favorite/unfavorite food:
- Favorites: Noodles, Whiskey Jelly
- Unfavorites: Tea and Bread, Blueberry Tart
Meerkat favorite food
An Echino Cactus grown more than 50%.
The Meerkat will not appear in cube terrarium, unless you have three hearts.

- Favorites: Worms, Scorpion cake
- Unfavorites: Noodles, Warm Stew
Panda favorite food
The Panda will only appear in your terrarium when surrounded by 4 small plants.
Panda favorite/unfavorite food:

- Unfavorites: Blueberry tart, Scorpion cake
Elephant favorite food
You’ll only see the Elephant if you have 2 large plants in the same terrarium as the Elephant’s item.

Desert Fox favorite food
The Desert Fox will only appear in pointy/square terrariums.
Desert Fox favorite/unfavorite food:

- Unfavorite: Noodles, Warm Stew
Shiba Inu favorite food
The shiba inu appears once your Cherry Tree is blooming.
The Cherry Tree blooms when all plants in the terrarium are healthy/watered and when there are no weeds.

- Unfavorite: Fruits, Salad
Bichon favorite food
Bichon only appear if you buy Bichon Package. You can buy the Bichon Package from the Plus Button next to the Gold and select Gold category.

- Unfavorite: Fruits, Salad
Penguin favorite food
The player will need the Iceberg from the World Environment Day event or by earning it in 2048.
Penguin favorite/unfavorite food:
- Favorites: Whiskey Jelly, Tea and Bread
- Unfavorites: Warm Stew, Noodles
Harp Seal favorite food
The player will need the Sea Rock from the World Environment Day event or by earning it in 2048.
Harp Seal favorite/unfavorite food:
- Favorites: Tuna Can, Noodles
- Unfavorites: Tea and bread, Whiskey Jelly
Baby Turtle favorite food
The player will need the Coral from the World Environment Day event and by playing 2048.
Baby Turtle favorite/unfavorite food:
- Favorite foods: Worms, Fruit
- Unfavorite foods: Steak, Tuna
Otter favorite food
The Otter is an animal that will appear after you have merged and placed the Flowerwell in your terrarium. The Flowerwell can be found under the Merge tab of the Cat Lab, and merged for 200000 Gold, 10 common plants, one epic plant, and one deco item.
Otter favorite/unfavorite food:
- Favorites: Tuna, Noodles
- Unfavorites: Whiskey Jelly, Tea and Bread
Monkey favorite food
The Monkey appears in the terrarium once the Tulip bush is full-grown, other conditions are unknown.

- Unfavourites: Blueberry Tarts, Scorpion Cakes
Quokka favorite food
To get Quokka, you need a fully grown Sunflower, which you can merge in the Cat Lab. Other conditions unknown.

Sparrow favorite food
The Sparrows are animals that will appear after you have merged and placed the Fountain in your terrarium. The Fountain can be found under the Merge tab of the Cat Lab, and merged for 200000 Gold, 10 common plants, one epic plant, and one deco item.
Sparrow favorite/unfavorite food:
- Favorites: Scorpion Cake, Worms
- Unfavorites: Whiskey Jelly, Steak
Sheep favorite food
To get Sheep, you need to merge and then fully grow a smoke-tree. Other conditions unknown.
Sheep favorite/unfavorite food:
- Favorites: Salad, Warm stew
- Unfavorites: Tuna can, Tea and bread
Reindeer favorite food
The reindeer appears in your terrarium once you merged a Holly Tree, that has fully grown. Other conditions unknown.

Cheetah favorite food
The player needs the Hydrangea. This requires 5 Common plants, 1 Epic, and 5 Decos.

- Unfavorites: Worms, Scorpion Cake
Sand Cat favorite food
The player will need the White Ghost plant. It is made in the Cat Lab with 15 Common plants, 1 Epic, and 10 Decos. They can also win it from the 2048 game.

- Unfavorites: Salad, Fruits
Giraffe favorite food
The Palm Tree is required for the Giraffe to appear. It is made in the Cat Lab with 20 Common plants, 1 Epic, and 15 Decos.

- Favorites: Fruits, Salad
- Unfavorites: Tuna, Steak
